When we built Mango Pre and Primary School in 2018, we had a vision: to provide vulnerable children in rural Tanzania with access to quality education that would prepare them for a future of opportunity.
Today, that vision is a reality.
Mango School is the only English Medium School in the Ruvuma region, serving 512 students from kindergarten through Grade 7. For these children, education is not just a privilege—it is a lifeline.
Why English Medium?
In Tanzania, secondary school subjects are taught in English. For students from rural areas where Swahili is the primary language of instruction, the transition to secondary school can be overwhelming. Many students struggle with the language barrier and fall behind.
Mango School bridges this gap by providing English-medium instruction from an early age. Our students graduate with the language skills and confidence they need to succeed in secondary school and beyond.
